New CPSA‑F® curriculum version 2025.1 published
The iSAQB has published the new version 2025.1 of the Certified Professional for Software Architecture-Foundation Level (CPSA‑F) curriculum.
As of April 1, 2025, all Foundation Level training courses will be based on the new curriculum version. All iSAQB Accredited Training Providers were informed in advance and were able to update their training materials accordingly. The CPSA‑F exam remains unchanged – the new training version still offers optimal exam preparation for participants.
More than 250 issues, comments, and problems in both the English and German versions have been resolved compared to the previous release version 2023.1.
The structure of the curriculum has been aligned with the architectural tasks, including clarifying requirements, designing the system, communicating, and evaluating/analyzing. As a consequence, many learning goals have been moved. Examination-relevant content largely remained unchanged. Many LGs got new numbers, but the old numbers are kept in the title to facilitate migration.
Further information and details on the changes can be found here in GitHub.
The new curriculum, version 2025.1, is available in both English and German and can be found here. Other languages, such as Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Chinese, will follow soon and, therefore, become mandatory at a slightly later date.
