About the authors
Mahbouba Gharbi is the managing director and chief architect of ITech Progress GmbH. She has served as chairwoman of the International Software Architecture Qualification Board (iSAQB) for more than 15 years. She’s a dedicated software architecture enthusiast, the author of numerous technical articles, and a frequent speaker at international conferences.
Arne Koschel is a professor for distributed information systems at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hanover, Germany, and a board member of the iSAQB. He also works as a trainer and a consultant.
Andreas Rausch is the director of the Institute for Software and Systems Engineering at Technische Universität, Clausthal. He has been active in industrial practice as a consultant and as a lead software architect for large distributed software systems. He is chairman of the advisory board of the iSAQB.
Holger Tiemeyer is a former vice chairman of the iSAQB board. As a computer scientist who minored in psychology, he gives training courses about software architecture, as well as lectures at technical colleges. He is an author of technical articles and a speaker at international conferences.
